Chamber Music Fundraiser Recital

YOCJ is once again organizing the much anticipated 4th Annual Chamber Music Recital on Sat. April 20 at 7pm at the Princeton Of Peace Lutheran Church (POP).
 

Donations at the Chamber Music Recital can be made via cash, check, Zelle, or PayPal. All proceeds go exclusively to the 4th Annual Senior Scholarship which is awarded at the May 11th 7:30pm Spring Large Ensemble Concert!

This unique event features student-organized chamber groups. Conductors will select which chamber groups will perform at this Chamber Music Fundraiser Recital. Selected groups will also receive one coaching session prior to the concert. All funds raised at the recital go completely towards the Senior Scholarship which will be awarded at the May 2024 Spring Concert.

First Rehearsal – Fall 2023

YOCJ rehearsals will commence on Tuesday October 3.

Please note that our first rehearsal will be at Community Middle School. All subsequent rehearsals will be back at WWPHS North.

Music Folders will ONLY be distributed AFTER the Orientation Meeting, to families who have submitted payment.

Please enter through the main entrance, go straight down the long hall, following the signs to the Upper Dining Hall, which will be on your right.

Fall 2023 New Student Auditions

Tuesday September 12th is the next date for our New Student Auditions. A successful audition secures your spot on our roster! Students must register for an audition time online. We will be accepting payment online as well. We look forward to meeting your young, talented musicians!

Auditions will take place on Tuesday, September 12th at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North, located at 90 Grovers Mill Road, Plainsboro, NJ 08536.

Jefferson Memorial – Tour Concert

Families, Friends, & Supporters ~ Join us at 10am on Sunday June 25, at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington D.C. for one of YOCJ’s Tour concerts! Hear selections from the String Orchestra, the Wind Symphony, and the combined Full Orchestra. Featured composers include Aaron Copland, Camille Saint-Saëns, Peter Tchaikovsky, Antonio Vivaldi, Hector Berlioz and more! (Alternate location is the Sylvan Theater in the event of inclement weather.)

World War II Memorial – Tour Concert

Families, Friends, & Supporters ~ Join us at 10am on Saturday June 24, at the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. for one of YOCJ’s Tour concerts! Save the Date! Tuesday, April 25 is our next restaurant fundraiser at On The Border. We need 30 commitments in order to hold this fundraiser. Click HERE to commit! Spring Parent Meeting

All YOCJ Parents, both spring-only and year-round, are welcomed to join us for a brief Parents Meeting on Tuesday April 18. There are two options: 6pm to 6:30pm OR 7pm to 7:30pm. Both meetings are identical. These meetings will be held in the Upper Dining Hall of WWPHSN.
