YOCJ is pleased to announce that our soloist for the 2022-2023 Season will be Trumpet player Billy Hunter. Mr. Hunter is currently Principal Trumpet with the Metropolitan Opera in New York and Assistant Principal Trumpet with the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra in Chicago. He will be performing the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto with the Symphonic Orchestra, with conductor Kenneth Bean at our Winter Large Ensemble concert in January. Mr. Hunter will also be our Brass clinician at our Spring Brass Masterclass on Monday March 13th at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North. More concert details will be available soon, as well as information on how YOCJ students can audition to perform in the Masterclass. Stay tuned!
