YOCJ is pleased to announce that Dr. Paul Cohen, renowned saxophone historian and soloist, will be giving a lecture and rare saxophone demonstration on Tuesday December 12th at 8pm in the West Windsor Plainsboro High School North Theater. This event is free and open to the public. Dr. Cohen, widely regarded as having the largest private saxophone collection in the world, will present an engaging look through time at how the saxophone has developed from its inception to its widespread use today. He will also show and demonstrate many rare saxophones such as the straight alto saxophone, Conn-O-Sax, contrabass saxophone and more! Dr. Cohen will also be guest conducting the YOCJ Saxophone Choir on our 7pm January 21st concert at TCNJ’s Kendall Hall.
