YOCJ instituted Woodwind Placement/Seating Auditions last season with great success. We will be holding these auditions once again on:
Tuesday 9/17/19
between 5pm & 7pm at
WWPHS North in the Music Wing.
These placement/seating auditions are for current YOCJ flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon students:
*who wish to be considered for Symphonic or Wind Symphony
OR
*who are currently in Symphonic or Wind Symphony
for parts (Flute 1, Flute 2, Clarinet 1, Clarinet 2, Oboe 1, Oboe 2, Bassoon 1, Bassoon 2, etc.)
AND possible promotion opportunities
Students have been emailed the specific excerpts–please download and print your particular part.
Please come to the auditions on Tuesday 9/17/19 between 5pm & 7pm at WWPHS North in the Music Wing, and you will be heard in the order in which you arrive.
Please make every effort to attend. If you have an insurmountable conflict, or are only available before or after the time frame above, please let both Mr. Pugh (contactyocj@gmail.com) and Mrs. Epps (executivedirector@yocj.org) know asap, so that we can work with you on finding a solution!
