YOCJ is pleased to announce our Summer 2021 Chamber Music Camp for students in 6th-12th grade, held on the campus of Rider University.
*Mondays through Fridays: July 12-16 & July 19-23, 9 AM to 12 PM
*Students can register in pre-formed chamber music groups or request to be placed in an appropriate ensemble. Strings, woodwinds, saxophone, and brass musicians are welcomed!
*Choose both weeks (different repertoire) for $450 OR choose one week for $250
*Students will be coached by our talented YOCJ faculty and performances will be held at the conclusion of each week.
*Faculty includes: Dr. Nell Flanders, Mr. Phillip Pugh, Dr. Jordan Smith, & Mr. Scott Collins
*Registration is a 2 step process on our website:
1. PayPal fee
2. Google form in which students must also upload a 1 minute playing sample video for placement purposes
*Registration opens on May 1st for current YOCJ students.
*We are thrilled to bridge the gap between virtual courses and the excitement of an in-person YOCJ Fall 2021 season with the Summer Chamber Music Camp!
* YOCJ will continue to follow all CDC and state guidelines for gatherings and all students will need to follow those directives when participating in the camp, including face coverings and social distancing when applicable.
