YOCJ is thrilled to bring back our seasonal Student Socials, which happen during the last 30 minutes of the large rehearsal blocks — see below for details. Student pick-up times are the same as normal.

Student Socials feature delicious snacks and drinks, provided by parents. (Stay tuned for Sign Up Genius Links!) These events give our students a fun opportunity to socialize and get to know each other beyond the rehearsals and concerts.

Students who are going to Austria – this is a great chance to chat with different students as you think about who you will list on the Roommate Request survey that will be released in the coming months. (Keep in mind that you could also select “match me up with someone my age” on this survey as well.)

Parents:

There are even slots to volunteer to assist (which would count as a Parent Volunteer opportunity.)

Tuesday December 19th
First Social:
5pm Parents drop off Food/Drink in the Upper Dining Hall
(SPO students go straight to rehearsal)
6pm-6:30pm Social

Second Social:
7pm Parents drop off Food/Drink in the Upper Dining Hall
(Students go straight to rehearsals)
8:30pm-9pm Social

*Students in Flute Choir and Saxophone Ensemble-only, your rehearsals will be done by this date. You are welcome to attend either social! Let us know if you have any questions.
